Clean Hot Air Furnace Installed in Canada
Clean Air Hot Furnace is primarily used in drying applications. It generates clean hot air by indirectly heating ambient air through the combustion of wood pellets. The system ensures that the flue gas produced from combustion does not come into direct contact with the air, resulting in contamination-free hot air that serves as a reliable heat source for downstream drying or heating processes.During operation, wood pellets are fully combusted in the furnace chamber, producing high-temperature flue gas. This gas passes through a specially designed heat exchanger, where it transfers heat to the incoming air via indirect contact. The strict separation between the flue gas and air ensures the heated air remains clean and meets strict hygiene standards. The hot air, now at a controlled temperature and flow rate, is then ducted to the drying equipment to provide the necessary thermal energy.
In October 2025, a biomass-fueled clean hot air furnace was put into operation in British Columbia, Canada. Adopting advanced combustion and heat exchange technologies, the furnace burns biomass fuels including wood pellets, wood chips and straw pellets, generating ~43,000 m³/h of clean hot air with adjustable temperature via the control panel. For this project, the client applies the furnace to the drying process of crops such as wheat, barley and canola, so the temperature of the clean hot air is precisely controlled within a suitable low range to ensure the drying quality of the crops.
